About

I work creatively with individuals to identify and explore choices to shift unhealthy lifestyle patterns of behavior. I further approach my work with an anti-oppressive and social justice lens that allows me to work with individuals and families in finding emotional and social balance in communities of color affected by traumatic experiences. I am acutely aware of individuals’ experiences and challenges working in the entertainment and sports industry. My personal experience as an artist informs my understanding of anxiety’s hidden complexities in this population.
As a psychotherapist, I strongly believe in the human capacity to be resilient, using strength-based approaches in our work together. My training is Trauma-focused care, and Behavior Analysis. While I apply treatment modalities such as Cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT), Dialectic behavior therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy.
Asking for help is not easy. Taking the first step is the hardest act you will ever have to take in your journey to find answers and clarity. I invite you to open your mind to the possibility of sharing your story in a place no judgment exits so you can be yourself.
