About

No matter how painful life can be or how fragile they feel, people have amazing resiliency. For me, therapy honors my clients’ dignity, using the best of their strengths and experiences. Together, we build upon those strengths so clients enjoy a more fulfilling life.
I commonly provide therapy to people experiencing depression, anxiety, chronic illness, chronic pain, grief and loss, co-dependence, caregiver stress, life stage transitions, spiritual/religious identity issues, and body image issues and concerns about relationship with food. I especially enjoy working with midlife adults and elders.
An integrative perspective on mental and emotional health brings a lot to therapeutic work, and personal joy to me. I blend a variety of interventions in therapy, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based therapies, visualization, spiritual development perspectives, and stress management skills.
