About

I have current openings in my practice for teens (13+) and adults in their 20s and 30s who are having difficulty with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and relational issues. My colleagues and I have recently expanded our group practice, North Shore Psychotherapy, to a Lincoln Park location. My warm and genuine presence provides a safe space for my clients, which allows them to work through difficult or confusing issues, without fear of judgment.
I incorporate multiple therapeutic orientations, creating treatment plans for each client’s needs while working from a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens. Specifically, CBT/DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused and mindfulness. Additional specialties: experiences of trauma, behavioral issues, building self-confidence, emerging adulthood.
I believe in a collaborative therapeutic process and ‘goodness of fit’ is essential in the relationship between client and therapist. We will work together to process the barriers that might slow down the healing process, but also learn how to utilize the strengths each individual has that will enable them to live a more positive and fulfilling life.
