About

Briahn (Bri) Badelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in the Bay Area. An Oakland native, Briahn has worked as a trauma medical social worker at a local county trauma center as well as at other Bay area hospital and has also worked at various non-profits and schools in the Bay Area. Some of the folks Bri works with are working through challenges in their daily lives from trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, dealing with life transitions, work stress, family and relationship issues, as well as navigating day to day stressors.

In 2017, Bri decided to attempt to address the need for therapists from traditionally oppressed communities and opened Thrive Oakland, a multi-cultural, inclusive therapy practice in Oakland. Thrive Oakland specializes in working with those who are new the therapy, folks who are more comfortable working with a therapist who identifies as part of a traditionally marginalized community and those who are learning how to navigate everyday stressors through a multicultural lens.
