About

“Self-care is the constant practice of not letting more pain accumulate.” -Susan Raffo. I have a special interest in the wellness and wholeness of QTPOC, and helping each person uncover the underlying foundations of their discomforts. I believe in treating the intersections of the mind, body, and spirit. Listening, witnessing, empathizing, and being present are tenets of my therapeutic framework.
Being unapologetically black and queer, I am constantly aware of oppression fatigue, and its effects on our emotional and physical well being My hope is to help others achieve awareness, healing, recovery, and resistance. I utilize Psychodynamic, Brainspotting, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and EMDR therapy while treating trauma in both adolescents and adults.
Recovering our wholeness, safety and healing is not a privilege, it is a right. I am a practicing social worker/ clinical therapist receiving my undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan-Flint, and attended the University of Minnesota, and Madonna University for my Master of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health.
