Therapy is a place for new beginnings. Beginning to learn about ourselves. Beginning to increase self-love and appreciation. Beginning to heal. I aim to meet each client where they are, with understanding and a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation. My specialty as a dual diagnosis therapist, which means I work with people who suffer from both mental health and substance use disorders, helps me to focus on helping people navigate life’s transitions.
Sometimes, it isn’t what happens to us that causes us to suffer, it’s what we say to ourselves about what happens. I work with people to empower them to address their issues and overcome personal obstacles; whether it has to do with substance use or mental health! The only constant in the universe is change, and change is never easy. I am happy to help.
I operate a nonjudgmental space where you are free to be open and honest. Together we will work on those areas where you feel you struggle most, exploring new ideas and skills to make positive changes in your life. I would love to speak with you. Please feel free to reach out to me. This is a great opportunity to ask questions.
