I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with an expertise in providing therapy services to children and adolescents. Helping children to learn how to embrace their imperfections breeds confidence and produces freedom in loving who they are. We are all imperfectly perfect and that is what makes us human. Utilizing evidence-based practices, I assist children and adolescents to make sense of what is going on in their minds, bodies, and lives. Assisting clients to move toward greater health and wholeness in a safe, non-judgmental environment is always my focus.
Through a client-centered focus, I work with families to explore and understand their child’s cognition, emotions, and behaviors to strengthen awareness and emotional intelligence in a way they can understand. Children face many issues that mimic adult issues like anxiety, depression, and stress. Breaking down the issues into manageable parts is my goal.
Children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health distress may not share these concerns with their parents in fear of disappointing. Allow me to assist your child or adolescent in discovering their unique path towards healing and new meaning. Bloom. Shine. Grow. We are all Imperfectly Perfect.
