For the past 18 years, I have journeyed with individuals, couples and families through conflict in social services. Many of our current problematic behaviors, thoughts and worldviews, have their root in past relationships or experiences that were emotionally, or psychologically damaging. In our work together, I’ll help you to explore and overcome some of these emotional and psychological blocks. My passion is to hold the complexities of each person; to identify contributing factors and to provide the best treatment to help them to become their best selves.
I have a Master’s degree from Seattle University and LMFTA, CDPT credentials. I have honed my education, experience and skills as a Individual, Couples, Child & Family Therapist. I am trained in EFT, Gottman Method and Family Systems. In my work with individuals I use Psychodynamic, CBT and Humanistic therapies.
CHILDREN-I previously worked as an In-Home therapist, providing parent/child assessments, coaching and therapy for families pre/post the adoption process. I have significant experience working with children that have been impacted by severe trauma. I am particularly skilled in working with parents adopting children from different ethnicities.
