About

I provide individual and family mental health counseling for women and adolescents, and am dedicated to helping them heal from traumatic events and live their best life. I see my role as a compassionate partner helping the client work toward healing and growth from the inside out. I work especially well with those who have experienced abuse, neglect, rape, domestic violence, and grief; and helping them to improve their feelings of self-worth, self-esteem and self-acceptance. I also work well with those who are in recovery or who are struggling with addiction.
I specialize in treating clients who suffer with Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, and PTSD. I use an integrative psychodynamic approach, of evidenced based interventions, which are tailored to each client’s unique needs and include techniques from Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-focused techniques.
I believe that the counseling environment allows the client to actively participate in self-discovery, in a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space. In session, we will laugh and cry as we work toward healing from the inside out and living your best life. If this sounds like the kind of therapy you’re looking for I hope you’ll be in touch.
