About

Change can be difficult, and even more difficult to accept. But together, we can learn to embrace it. I have made it my priority to create a safe, non-judgmental space for us to do that. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adult women of color experiencing life changes, transitions, anxiety, and depression. Maybe you’re trying to find your place in the world and challenges continue to present themselves. Perhaps you’re seeking a way out of an emotional or physically abusive relationship. Or maybe you want to learn how to manage the inherent disadvantages of being a black woman in a society rooted in discrimination
I understand what it’s like trying to find yourself, identity, and values while balancing the reality of difficult family dynamics, generational trauma, and the challenges of being a minority in our society. Allow me to walk beside you on your path to healing and knowing.
In order to grow, one must be willing to commit to the work. You can trust in my ability to hold space for you while communicating directly and honestly about topics that can be difficult to process. You are already BRAVE. You’ve taken the first step toward a more fulfilling life. Now it’s time to walk the journey and build resilience.
