Life is tough! I recognize and understand that certain events can throw life into instant chaos. In the aftermath, we may feel powerless and confused about our direction in life. Making transitions in life(i.e. having a child, career change, and divorce) can be stressful. My name is Tatiana Grant and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I graduated from Long Island University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (how our thoughts, feelings, behaviors affect each other), Systems Therapy (the different roles you play in life) and Motivational Interviewing (what motivates you to make changes). I use a mixture of approaches depending on what you are experiencing at the time, knowing that your treatment goals may change.
