Human problems and suffering reside with every society and have proved to be ageless. In accepting the reality of the pain and suffering one needs commitment to explore the gamut of human experiences and emerge ready to carry on with some healing and hope for tomorrow. With EMDR therapy the primary goal is to leave you with the emotions, understanding, and perspectives that will lead to healthy and useful behaviors and interactions.
I will offer an evidence based therapy approach where attention will be given to a negative image, belief, and body feeling related to this event, and then to a positive belief that would indicate the issue was resolved. A typical EMDR therapy session lasts from 60-90 minutes.
I work with other individuals, couples, and families to help them find healthy solutions to the challenges of daily living and past traumas.
